AH Bangert Elementary School Goes GREEN with Peachjar!
In the past, our school sent home loads of flyers in students’ backpacks. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly and to embrace innovative technology, we are moving from paper to a digital flyer delivery program called Peachjar.
With our Peachjar e-flyer program, the e-flyers are sent directly to parents’ email inboxes as well as posted on school websites for easy access. All flyers may be accessed by clicking on the Peachjar link on each school's website.
Each year, our school will save tons of paper and reduce copy costs by thousands of dollars. In addition, paperless delivery of school flyers removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers.

For information on Distribution and Display of Non School materials within our schools – Please click on the link to view Board Policy 5210
As we transition to this new program, outside organizations still have the ability to also issue a paper flyer if approved. Click on the link for Distribution Request Form. Please submit completed form and a copy of your flyer to Public Relations at Central Services for approval. You may submit electronically to contact information on form or drop it off. Jingle Bell Trot 5K & FunRun
December 11, 2014 @ 7:00 pm
The run will be held in conjunction with the annual Winter Spectacular and tree lighting on the front lawn of Bangert Elementary. The certified 5K course will take runners and walkers through the enchanting Christmas lights along Canterbury Road. There will also be a 1-mile Fun Run for kids; the Fun Run participants will also get to experience and enjoy the Canterbury lights.

AH Bangert Fall Festival is Friday, October 17th from 5:30 - 7:30. Come join us for a fun event!
Our school will be participating in the Charleston Wrap Fundraising Program again this year. Packets went home in red folders on Tuesday, 9/16. Please support our school by helping your child sell items!
Join us for Open House on Tuesday, September 16th from 6:00 - 7:30. We will meet in the cafeteria. Parents will have an opportunity to join our PTA, visit their child's classroom and sign up for parent conferences. We look forward to seeing you!
Thanks to all the Grandparents who came out to help us celebrate Grandparents Day. We had over 170 grandparents join their grandchildren for lunch! Thanks a bunch!
Bangert is getting a SALAD BAR! On September 17th we will debut our new salad bar. Students will have a chance to make a salad to replace a vegetable or make it a chef salad by adding a meat. We are so excited about the salad bar. Our own Havelock High School Football Team created a video about the the correct way to use the salad bar. Click the link here.
